This Cookie Policy explains how Finvisor Limited ("Finvisor", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.finvisor.global and www.finvisor.ie (together, the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to recognise your device, remember your choices and, where you permit it, measure how the site is used. "Similar technologies" include local storage entries, pixels and scripts that perform comparable functions. In this policy we refer to all of these as cookies.

2. Our approach to consent

Under Regulation 5 of the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 336 of 2011), and the Data Protection Commission's guidance on cookies, we only set cookies that are not strictly necessary once you have given consent. When you first visit the Site you are shown a consent banner. No analytics cookie is set until you select "Accept analytics" or enable analytics under "Manage preferences". Choosing "Reject optional" leaves only strictly necessary storage in place. Your choice is retained for future visits and can be changed at any time using the "Cookie settings" control at the bottom left of every page.

3. Cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

  • fv_consent_v1 (local storage, set by Finvisor). Records whether you have accepted or rejected optional cookies so that the banner is not shown again and your preference is honoured. Retained until you clear your browser storage. This does not identify you.
  • Webflow hosting and form protection. Our Site is hosted on Webflow. Webflow may set short-lived technical cookies needed to serve pages securely and to protect the contact and briefing-request forms from abuse. These do not track you across sites.

Analytics (set only with your consent)

  • _ga (Google Analytics 4, 2 years). Distinguishes one visitor from another using a randomly generated identifier.
  • _ga_G-GMYYRJDN6V (Google Analytics 4, 2 years). Maintains session state for our GA4 property.

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and Google Consent Mode. Google signals, advertising features and data sharing with Google for its own purposes are not enabled. The data tells us which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Site and how long they stay. It is used only to improve the Site and our content. Google LLC processes this data on our behalf; transfers to the United States rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Google's own privacy information is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising and social media

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies on the Site. Links to our LinkedIn page are plain links and do not load LinkedIn scripts.

4. How to manage cookies

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" control on the Site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; guidance is available from your browser provider. If you block strictly necessary storage, some parts of the Site, such as forms, may not work correctly. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Changes to this policy

We review this policy whenever we change the cookies used on the Site and at least annually. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
